What is the fixed scissor lift platform mainly used for? It is stationary hydraulic lifting equipment for fixed-point vertical cargo conveying. It is commonly installed in foundation pits or on the ground inside factories, warehouses and logistics workshops, used to transfer goods between different floor heights, connect production lines, and serve as fixed loading and unloading stations. It is mainly for cargo lifting, not for passenger carrying unless configured as a dedicated man lift.
What load capacity and lifting height options do you offer? Our standard models cover load capacity from 1 ton to 20 tons, with lifting height ranging from 1m to 10m. Customized heavier load or higher lifting height is available. Our engineers will confirm the proper specification according to your cargo weight, required lifting height and the size of the goods.
Does it need a foundation pit for installation? Most fixed scissor lifts are designed for pit installation, so that the platform surface can be flush with the ground when lowered, which is convenient for forklifts and pallet trucks to load goods directly. If digging a pit is not allowed at your site, we can design a surface-mounted type with a ramp. You need to inform us of your site condition in advance.
What safety devices are equipped on this lift? It comes with a complete set of safety configurations as standard: safety support arms for maintenance, hydraulic explosion-proof valve to prevent sudden falling of the platform when the oil pipe breaks, overload protection device, emergency stop button, limit switch for upper and lower positions, and safety guardrails around the platform. Optional safety light curtain and alarm buzzer are also available.
What power supply does the fixed scissor lift use? The standard power supply is 380V three-phase AC power. For special areas, we can configure 220V single-phase power supply. The hydraulic station is equipped with reliable motors and hydraulic pumps. The lifting and lowering actions are controlled by button boxes, and remote control can be added as an option.
Can we customize the platform size and configuration? Yes. We fully customize the platform length and width, guardrail height, door structure, control mode and painting color. If you need to transport extra-long materials, we can make an extended platform. For special corrosive environments, we can do anti-corrosion treatment on the surface.
Can it be used outdoors? The standard version is suitable for indoor use. If you need outdoor application, we can upgrade it with rainproof cover for the hydraulic station, waterproof electrical box and outdoor anti-rust paint to resist rain and dust. Please tell us if it will be exposed to outdoor weather.
Is the installation complicated? Do you provide installation guidance? We will provide foundation drawing, installation drawing and technical parameters after order confirmation. Our engineers can offer online guidance for installation. If needed, we can arrange on-site installation service at extra cost. The customer needs to prepare the concrete foundation and power supply on site in advance.
What about the warranty and after-sales service? The main scissor frame has a 3-year warranty. Hydraulic station, motor, sealing elements and electrical components follow the original supplier’s warranty terms. We supply long-term spare parts supply and online troubleshooting. If there is a failure, our technical team will respond quickly to guide maintenance.
What export documents can you provide and what is the lead time? We can provide CE certificate, packing list, commercial invoice and inspection documents for customs clearance. Standard models can be finished within 7–15 working days. Customized fixed scissor lift platforms take about 15–25 working days. Key components are packed separately in wooden cases to avoid damage during sea transportation.
